OpenRAR Business licence: Terms of Sale

Effective date: 2 November 2026

These terms apply when you buy an OpenRAR Business licence from us. Using the app is governed by the OpenRAR End-User Licence Agreement (“EULA”). Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.

1. The seller

Yando Pte. Ltd., a company incorporated in Singapore, UEN 202018750D, 68 Circular Road, #02-01, Singapore 049422. Email: support@openrar.app.

2. Who we sell to

OpenRAR is free for personal use. The Business licence is for commercial use, as defined in the EULA, which includes non-profit organisations, schools and public bodies. It is meant for businesses, organisations and professionals. When you buy, you confirm that you are buying for business or professional purposes, and that you are allowed to bind the organisation you buy for.

Some buyers may still be consumers under their local law, such as a sole trader in some countries. Section 12 explains the rights they keep.

3. What you buy

The full rights and limits are in the EULA.

4. Prices

Prices are per seat, in euros, and exclude taxes (see section 5):

The price per seat is set by the total number of seats in the order, and applies to every seat in it. For example, 10 seats cost 10 × €10 = €100.

The total is shown at checkout before you pay. If we offer a promotion code, enter it at checkout; it cannot be applied after payment. We may change our prices at any time. A change never affects an order already paid.

1,000 seats or more. Write to support@openrar.app with the number of seats and your company details. We send you a written quote, and then an invoice through Stripe that you can pay online. Once it is paid, we email your licence key. Unless the quote says otherwise, these terms apply.

5. Taxes

Our prices exclude VAT, GST and other taxes. Today, no VAT or other tax is added at checkout, and the total shown there includes no tax.

You are responsible for any VAT, GST or similar tax that is due in your country on your purchase. For businesses, this is often done through the reverse-charge mechanism, where you account for the tax yourself. You are also responsible for any duty or withholding that applies to you.

6. Ordering and payment

You order on openrar.app, which opens Stripe Checkout. There you choose the number of seats (1 to 999) and enter:

Stripe processes the payment. We never see your full card details. The contract is concluded when your payment is confirmed. For payment methods that are confirmed later, such as some bank debits, the key is sent once the payment succeeds.

7. Delivery of the licence key

As soon as your payment is confirmed:

To activate, open OpenRAR and choose Enter Licence Key…

No email? Check your spam folder, then write to support@openrar.app from the email address used at checkout. A key sent again is a new key that replaces the previous one; Macs that are already activated keep their licence. Keep your key confidential: anyone who has it can use your seats.

8. Invoices

An invoice is created for every order, with the name and billing address entered at checkout. If you need a copy or a correction (for example your company name or address), write to us. Where needed, we issue a credit note and a corrected invoice.

9. Adding seats later

You can add seats at any time:

Reducing seats. Seats can be reduced only within 30 days of the purchase, as the Refund Policy allows.

10. Transferring a licence

11. Refunds and payment disputes

Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy. In short: 30 days, no questions asked, and a full refund ends the licence.

If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer, please write to us first; we will fix any genuine problem quickly. A payment dispute suspends the licence until it is resolved (EULA, section 12).

12. Consumers in the EU, the EEA and the UK

These rights apply only to buyers who are consumers under their local law. They do not apply to businesses.

Model withdrawal form (complete and return it only if you wish to withdraw from the contract):

13. Liability

Our liability for the licence and for OpenRAR is set out in the EULA (sections 10 and 11).

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in force when you placed your order applies to that order.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in its courts.
