Who needs a licence?
Anyone using OpenRAR at work: for a company, a freelance business, a public body or an organisation. Using it at home, for yourself, is free.
What happens without a licence?
Nothing is locked. OpenRAR shows a short reminder when it starts, and every feature keeps working.
What is a seat?
One person using OpenRAR. Each seat covers up to 3 Macs, so the same person can use their desktop, laptop and a spare.
Is it really paid once?
Yes. A licence never expires and includes every future version of OpenRAR. There is no subscription.
How do I get my licence key?
Right after payment, on the confirmation page and by email. In OpenRAR, choose OpenRAR › Licence… and paste it.
Do I get an invoice?
Yes. Stripe emails an invoice for the purchase, with the company name you enter at checkout.
Can I add seats later?
Yes. Write to support@openrar.app with your licence key and the number of seats to add.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Within 30 days of purchase, for any reason: write to support@openrar.app and we refund you in full. The refunded licence stops working. See the refund policy at openrar.app/refunds.
Do you need more than 999 seats?
Write to support@openrar.app for a quote. Licences above 1,000 seats are issued by hand.
